These terms and conditions govern your use of this web site and all online bookings made by you with The View. Any booking which you make shall be an offer by you to purchase the relevant Room subjected to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services available online, through any mobile device or by email.

By using this web site and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy policy). A confirmation will be sent once a booking has been made.

The View is located in Oman and all charges found on this website are in Omani Rials (OMR).

Payments:

We do not take third party payments. Therefore the card holder must be one of the guests staying at The View. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment can be made by Amex, Visa, Master card or Diners Club. The Provider reserves the right to charge you in addition for any handling fees incurred by it in relation to bookings made by credit or charge card. You will be notified of the relevant charges prior to issue of a confirmation invoice. Once payment is made, we will make verification checks to prevent payment card fraud to protect both ourselves and the cardholder. Should we require further security documentation such as confirmation of an address or a passport copy or resident card copy to verify the card user, we will contact you for this information and will require an urgent reply.

All credit card surcharges are non refundable.

General:

Rates are NET in Omani Rials.
All rates* are inclusive of taxes and service charges.
Rates* include dinner and breakfast ONLY.
Check In at 14:00 hrs & Check Out at 10:00 hrs
Any additional charges to be paid by the guest at The View in cash.
Additional Surcharge will be added to the rate* during Eid, Easter, Christmas & New Year's Eve.

 

Group booking Policy:

Group rates available upon request for bookings of minimum 10 paid rooms and above.
Rooming list should be provided 45 days prior to the date of arrival

 

Cancellation:

In the event of a cancellation, a passenger named on the booking must effect the cancellation in writing to us. Where cancellation is possible, cancellation may/will be subject to applicable charges, cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policy for FIT's:

Cancellation made 1 week before – No charge
6 days before – 25%
3 days before – 50%
2 days before & No show – 100%
Cancellation Policy for Groups:

Cancellation made 1 month before – No charge
3 weeks before – 25%
2 weeks before – 50%
Within 2 weeks – 75%
1 week before & No show – 100%

 

Refund:
Refund procedure takes 10-15 working days.
All credit card surcharges are non refundable.

 

Personal data Collected:
The View collects the following personal data: your name, address, email address, telephone number and credit card details, to the extent available and reservation preferences. This information is required to process, book and complete your reservation.

The View may also process data about your computing device such as IP address, browser type, and (for users of our service through a mobile device) Unique Device Identifier, operating system, application version and latitude/longitude. These data are typically non-identifying or anonymised, but may nevertheless be considered personal data either by themselves or when combined. In these cases the data will be processed in accordance with Middle East data protection law.

 

Events beyond Control:
The View shall not be liable for failure to provide or delay in providing accommodation, function rooms, equipment, food, beverages and other facilities as a result of events out of its control.

These include events arising from: -
Extreme weather conditions.
Interruption or failure of electric power, gas or water.
Acts of God, including fire earthquake, windstorm or natural disaster.
Collapse of structures, failure of equipment.
Fire, explosion or accidental damage.
Any other act or event which is beyond The View's reasonable control.
Guest Property:
The View is not and shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property owned by, or in the custody of its guests. The Client is advised to arrange adequate insurance cover for their property.

Pet Policy:
No pets are permitted into the Hotel.
