After reading a few reviews we were a bit scared. But its a fantastic hotel! The only thing is you need a 4x4 to drive up the mountain. The hotel charge you 35 OMR for transport which is very very high. So we hitchhiked, and it took us about 2 minutes to get a car that took us up. Rooms, the pool, wifi and the food are a 9.5

Amazing scenery makes the journey worth it.
Hair-raising journey up the mountain in a 4x4 but the view from this place is indeed stunning. Clever idea to build pods . Nice little infinity pool looking out onto the breathtaking scenery. Manager in the restaurant working his socks off and all staff very efficient. Food was perfectly fine if a bit uninspiring. I doubt I will ever stay in such a awe inspiring place again. Fridge not particularly cold which seemed to be part of wherever we stayed in Oman.
Tip: Pool can get busy late afternoon as people return from day trips. My husband greatly enjoyed a massage in the spa and it was not expensive.

Superb location, lovely staff and very nice facilities. Last year we visited this place already and found it already pretty stunning. The view is incredibly nice. Sunset from the pool even nicer. If you want to find a peaceful place to stay, don't miss this one

A breathtaking place where beauty feels endless
The place is absoulutely breathataking like something out of dream ,,,,surrounded by stunning views that feel almoust unreal. Every moment there feels magical, and the most important .....What made our stay more special was meeting some of the local mountain people working at the hotel..They were truly kind ,respectful , and welcoming .
This touched me and my family deeply, and it made our experience unforgettable .We will definitely return for another visit .

Great place for an escape at the mountain-side
The drive up is an adventure by itself, but it’s quite safe and doesn’t require much of skill
The views are breathtaking, rooms are spacious and comfortable
The pool and dinner with the valley views were the highlight of the stay

Congratulations on this truly unique place. What an original idea to build a hotel so far away from the world! Total relaxation, good food, exceptional views, fresh air.
